Introduction

At NEST Taekwon-Do, all Students, Parents/Guardians, and visitors are expected to uphold the values of respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship.

Taekwon-Do includes both physical training and etiquette (“Ye Jol”), which forms an essential part of our school environment.


Expected Behaviour

All Students must:

  • Follow instructor guidance at all times
  • Behave respectfully towards instructors, senior grades, and other students
  • Remain within designated training areas
  • Not leave the training area or venue without the permission of an Instructor
  • Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour

Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate etiquette, including bowing and addressing instructors respectfully.


Sportsmanship

Students are expected to:

  • Show fairness and respect during training and competition
  • Accept feedback and decisions appropriately
  • Be respectful in both success and defeat

Conduct Outside the Dojang

Students represent NEST Taekwon-Do at all times. This includes:

  • Appropriate behaviour at events and competitions
  • Responsible conduct when wearing club uniform
  • Respectful use of social media

Parent / Guardian Responsibilities

Parents/Guardians must:

  • Support instructors and their decisions
  • Encourage respectful behaviour
  • Raise concerns through appropriate channels (not via social media)
  • Remain contactable during sessions

Safety

All Students must:

  • Follow safety instructions
  • Use equipment appropriately
  • Report injuries or concerns

Breaches of Conduct

Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Verbal warning
  • Removal from a session
  • Suspension from training
  • Termination of Membership

Actions will be taken in line with our Terms and Conditions and Safeguarding Policy.


Acceptance

By participating in NEST Taekwon-Do, all Students and Parents/Guardians agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct.


Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy and Data Protection Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request. Where significant changes are made, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
